Ahh, The CANE CORSO. A wonderful, majestic, loyal breed that cannot even begin to be compared! A breed like no other out there, and most definitely not a breed for a newcomer to the canine world.
While these dogs are drop dead stunning, they are not a great companion for the first time dog handler, lazy lifestyles, or those without experience of dominant breeds. This breed is best suited with an experienced large dominant breed owner who leads an active lifestyle and can give this beautiful beast a purpose around the house.
Before I get into all the technical issues of the Cane Corso, let me run off at the mouth at what these awesome canines can do. Humm...lets see...oh yes thats right EVERYTHING! Yeah ya heard me correctly, I said EVERYTHING! :0) They work in Personal Protection, Weight Pulling,
Agility, Scent Detection, Tracking, Hunting Hearding, Hog Catching, Boar Bating, Search & Rescue, Police Work, Family Protector & Guardian, Lap Dog, Foot Warmer, Best Friend, and anything else you can think of. These dogs are highly trainable, & versatile & it takes through training to have a well suited family addition. While eager to please they tend to be a bit
hard headed at first. The pack order needs to be established immediately. It does not take to long before you have a well trained best friend. You just must remember training needs to be consistent throughout the Corsi lifetime. A Cane Corso is an irreplaceable part of the family. For those who have a working Molosser Obsession, you will find nothing superior to that of a Cane Corso Italiano. Out of all the other Rare Breeds in this World nothing, and I do mean NOTHING can even compare *perhaps a bit biased. I have owned Molosser Breeds all of my life and I have found the only one I cannot be without. Welcome to the Cane Corso Italiano folks, for those of you new to the breed sit down, sit back and prepare yourself for what you are about to learn and get yourself into. For those who are already proud momma's and poppa's of this awesome breed, Congratulations!
